Verifying your phone number
Get a code by SMS and type it in. Only once.
After you sign up, Torly asks you to verify your mobile number. It takes less than a minute and happens only once, before you set up your business. The number is used to verify your account and to reach you, and we do not share it.
- Step 1
Type your mobile number
Your name is already filled in. Type your mobile number and click Send me a code.
TipIt must be a mobile phone that receives SMS. A landline number will not work.
- Step 2
A number from another country?
The country is chosen for you, from where you are. To change it, click the country code next to the number, search for the country and choose it. You can also type the number with its country code, such as +44, and the country changes by itself.
- Step 3
Type the code
Within seconds an SMS arrives with a 6-digit code. Type it in the Verification code field. When you type the sixth digit, the check starts by itself.
TipOn a phone, the code usually appears above the keyboard. Tap it, and it is filled in for you.
- Step 4
No code arrived?
Wait a minute, and then you can:
- Send a new code: another code to the same number.
- Change number: if you typed a wrong number.
- Message us on WhatsApp: and we will help.
- Step 5
Your number is verified
When the code is right, it says your number is verified, and the setup wizard begins right away. You verify your number only once.
Common problems
It says the code is wrong
Check that you typed the 6 digits of the last code you received. After 5 wrong tries you need a new code: click Send a new code.
It says the code has expired
A code is valid for 10 minutes. Click Send a new code and type the new one.
It says the number does not look like a mobile number
You need a mobile phone number that can receive SMS. Also check that the country next to the number is right.
It says "We couldn't send the message"
The problem is on our side, not yours. Click Continue without verifying and go on to set up your business.
